TCRA Welcomes New Association Executive

JENN CHERNUT, ASSOCIATION EXECUTIVE

For over 25 years, Jenn has been a catalyst for change, helping individuals and businesses find their voice and craft impactful messages to move the needle on important issues. With a passion for advocacy and communication, Jenn has dedicated nearly two decades to the non-profit sector, specializing in Government Affairs, Communications, and Member Engagement.

In her most recent role, Jenn spearheaded a comprehensive transformation of the Tacoma-Pierce County Association of REALTORS® (TPCAR), revolutionizing communications, educational programs, events, and operations. Her commitment to fostering relationships and driving business growth has been a cornerstone of her career, evident during her tenure as the Director of Strategic Engagement at the Tacoma-Pierce County Chamber.

Jenn's expertise extends beyond the local level, as she serves as an at-large representative on NAR's Member Communications Committee, contributing valuable insights to national initiatives.

Armed with an MA in Communication from Arizona State University and dual undergraduate degrees in Communication and Political Science from the University of Colorado, Jenn brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to her endeavors. She is also a distinguished graduate of both the Western Association of Chamber Executives’ 3-year Academy for Emerging Executives and the Tacoma-Pierce County Chamber Leadership Academy.

Beyond her professional pursuits, Jenn finds joy in connecting with her daughter, Jamie Rose, and immersing herself in nature's beauty alongside their beloved rescue dogs, Maisie Moo & Noodle the Poodle. Their shared passions include gardening, beachcombing, mountain explorations, road trips, and attending Earth, Wind, and Fire concerts.

When not embracing the great outdoors, Jenn indulges in moments of glamour and fun with her friends. From sipping Sparkle Donkey tequila to belting out karaoke classics, Jenn's vibrant spirit and love for life are infectious. You might also catch her unwinding with episodes of The Golden Girls or Breaking Bad or adding a splash of creativity to DIY beauty sessions.
