Committees

ANNUAL AWARDS TASKFORCE

This taskforce is responsible for evaluating, and selecting, from the nominees submitted by TCRA members, the recipients of the TCRA annual awards. REALTOR® of the Year, REALTOR® Special Achievement, Affiliate of the Year, Citizen of the Year, Longtime REALTOR® Spirit.

The task force is made up of the previous year's winners.

BLOOD DRIVE TASK FORCE

This task force, in conjunction with the Puget Sound Blood Center organizes and schedules the annual TCRA blood drive. Member may volunteer to join this task force

BY-LAWS COMMITTEE

This committee works with the Board of Directors to maintain the By-Laws and the Policy Manual of the organization. Changes to the Policy Manual must be approved by the Board of Directors. Changes to the By-laws must be approved by the Board of Directors and the Membership. Members of the committee are appointed by the Board.

COMMUNICATIONS COMMITTEE

Members of this committee work in conjunction with the TCRA staff to produce the monthly on-line newsletter. They also work with the various members offices and the Olympian to promote our industry and the activities of our organization and its members. Members may volunteer for this committee.

DESIGNATED OFFICE COORDINATORS (DOCS) COMMITTEE

This committee is comprised of designated individual members in each member office to communicate the various activities, current issues, programs, of TCRA to the members in their office. The are also charged to keep the TCRA leadership and staff informed of activities in their offices and or concerns of the members in their offices. Members may volunteer for this committee.

EDUCATION COMMITTEE

The members of this committee have the valuable job of ensuring that an effective and informative education program is implemented through TCRA each year. Members of this committee work with membership to determine the continuing education courses for each year. They monitor courses, set up sponsor for each class and assist the TCRA staff in promotion of these courses. Member may volunteer for this committee.

EQUAL HOUSING OPPORTUNITY COMMITTEE

This committee is responsible to educate and inform REALTORS® of the rules and regulations of the Fair Housing Act. This education is directed at the education of the TCRA members and assist them in maintaining compliance with this rules.

RPAC COMMITTEE

The local RPAC committee raises funds to develop and promote the REALTORS political agenda - locally, state, and nationally. The Committee meets periodically to plan the TCRA picnic and auction in addition, to visits to the members offices. Anyone may join, no matter what your political leanings or experience (or lack).
